I graduated from Neville High School in 1982 and from NLU (now ULM) in 1987 with a Bachelors degree in Instrumental Music Education. After that, I went to Chicago to get a Masters in Instrumental Music Education, graduating in 1993.
I began teaching band at Good Hope Middle School when the school opened in 2002, one of the few original GHMS teachers! Go Colonel Band!
My first teaching job was at DeRidder Jr. High. From there, I moved to Texas where I taught at Waxahachie Jr. High and at DeSoto West.
I have 14 nieces and nephews who keep my world busy and fun!
I love to go to concerts and plays, and enjoy playing the piano for my church, First Baptist Monroe.
